Hey, I’m Brittany,

The maker, designer, metalsmith, and bead lover behind DearBritt Jewelry Designs.
Jewelry is about so much more than just how it looks. It’s the necklace that reminds you of someone you love, the ring you’ve worn for 30 years, your grandmother’s pearls, or a little piece of OSU pride in just the right shade of orange.

Those are the pieces I love the most: jewelry with a story.

DearBritt began in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 2017, but I started making jewelry long before that. When I was eight, I sold bracelets and necklaces at craft shows with my mom. By high school graduation, I knew I wanted to make jewelry for a living.
Since then, I’ve continued learning everything from metalsmithing and hand-tied pearls to lapidary, custom design, and precious metal casting. What began as a love for making pretty things with beads has grown into a passion for helping people create, repair, redesign, and care for the jewelry that matters most to them.

Why “Everyday Heirlooms”?

I don’t believe an heirloom should wait in a jewelry box for the right occasion. The best heirlooms are the ones you can live in, pieces made to be worn, loved, collected, passed down, and added to along the way.
That might mean creating something completely custom, restoring a treasured family piece, hand-knotting pearls, or making fine jewelry with traditional bench skills and modern techniques. It might even mean adding a little something with America’s Brightest Orange to your collection, even if it’s just for Fridays.
Whatever brings you to my little corner of the world, I know jewelry can be deeply personal. You may be trusting me with something that belonged to your grandmother, marks a milestone, or exists only as an idea in your head. I don’t take that trust lightly.
I’ll always be honest about materials, pricing, possibilities, and limitations. Even when the best solution differs from what you first imagined.

Caring for your jewelry starts with caring for the person who trusts me with it.

DearBritt is a small, independently owned studio, so there’s a real person on the other side of the table. I’ll listen to your story and be part of the process from the first idea to the finished piece.
