The DearBritt Story:
DearBritt Jewelry Designs began in Stillwater in 2017, but Brittany Friedel’s relationship with
jewelry started much earlier. At eight years old, she learned to make simple jewelry through Girl Scouts and quickly fell in love with beads. Before long, she was making bracelets and necklaces to sell alongside her mother at local craft shows. She used the money she earned to buy more beads, turning a childhood hobby into its own small business. That early love of making never went away. By the time she graduated high school, Brittany knew
she wanted to make jewelry for a living. Over the years, her practice has grown far beyond those first strands of beads to include metalsmithing, hand-tied pearls, lapidary, custom design, repair, and precious-metal casting. Today, DearBritt helps customers turn personal stories into wearable pieces, from made-to-order designs to redesigned family treasures. Brittany’s idea of an Everyday Heirloom is simple: Meaningful jewelry shouldn’t have to wait in a box for a special occasion. It should be worn, cared for, added to, and passed down.
