The Bead Library Collection is a curated archive of materials, textures, and colors.
Every necklace is composed of one bead of each kind, making each strand a unique record of materials gathered over time. The beads are intentionally graduated in size, beginning small and understated at the clasp and gradually building toward a bold center focal point, creating a natural balance, comfort, and visual flow.
This design reflects a lifelong relationship with beads as objects of study, memory, and meaning. Stones, glass, pearls, and others come together not to match, but to coexist. Each tells its own story while contributing to the whole.
Finished in sterling silver and assembled entirely by hand, The Library Necklace is both wearable art and future heirloom, meant to be lived in, remembered, and eventually passed down for generations.
Artist Note:
I’ve been collecting beads since I was a child. Drawn to their color, weight, texture, and quiet individuality. The Library Collection is my way of honoring that lifelong archive.
Each necklace is built like a catalog: one bead per material, and no repeats along the strand. Once a bead becomes part of a piece, its place in the library is sealed.
This design isn’t about matching. It’s about coexistence, balance, and the beauty of things gathered slowly over time.
